Otranto & Leece Tuesday

Who says its warmer in the South.
Its colder and more windy.

We are staying in a little seaside town called Otranto. It faces the Adriatic Sea.
Really gorgeous and i think it comes alive in Summer.
There is even a Club Med here.

William, my foster son for the week ( his mummy is my very dear friend ), and i decided to take a trip to the town of Leece.
We boarded the train at the most quaint and quiet station. We were the only two people there and the ticket counter was just a tiny booth. A big smile appeared on our faces when we saw the train. Look at it!

It was a very interesting train ride. I don't think many Asian people come to this part of Italy. People were constantly staring at us and whispering. Or maybe we just look weird.

Girls, even the train ticket guys were fashionable. What is it with these Italians? I think when they were born, the style fairy sprinkled fashion dust on each of them.

Three train switches and m,any stares later, we finally arrived at our destination.

Leece is also nicknamed the Florence of the South. The historic centre was breathtaking. Filled with buildings of such intricate facades. Simply beautiful..

Ok, gotta go now. Will blog again soon. Big hugs to all...
